No hubo dispendio económico.
A few days ago a friend M. celebrated his birthday, her partner prepared a simple surprise party , omelettes , nuts and homemade cake , a relaxing bar and drinks . There was no great expense . But were people who appreciate M. , M. was surprised , was happy and enjoyed the company, there were honest hugs, smiles, warmth , … little moments of happiness for those who cherish M., an honest and enthusiastic man with his work, full of vitality that it suffers from generous to others sometimes obviating himself. M. is happy feeling useful to others , putting in marches projects, helping others achieve their goals while he gets his own goals. I was told the next day that M. was happy, when he awoke his happiness had increased recalling that small party. The detail of knowing loved and admired by people was the best gift
Recent studies have shown that happiness is based in two important factors: sociability and generosity. And M. has both . The same must have thought the King of Bhutan when he decided to put his kingdom at the heart of » gross national happiness.» Since 1972 Bhutan organized society on the concept of » gross national happiness » instead of the gross domestic product. He powered Public health and education, the residents have English as the language but can speak 2 or 3 languages , social life is enhanced and television did not arrive until 2000. All the while Bhutan has become the country where happiness is measured and works for her . When they decided to start the Project the developed societies were analyzed and they realized that many of them , the gross domestic product did not walk in parallel with happiness, overwork , lack of free time , overstimulation , hyperconsuming … causing stress, depression , suicide , anxiety, … so they decided to look for an intermediate system to progress in a balanced way . And part of the success of Bhutan is in the balance .
Happiness is not just a momentary mood , happiness is a way of being , a decision to be, is to realize the importance of the road , a way to share, give and help others increases welfare. . It is time to reeducate happiness.
Michael Norton shows us that spend money with others makes us happier than if we spend only us. This means that money can give happiness, the key to achieving it is to spend with others.
